BioShock Second Wave Funko Pops Review

I love BioShock, it is my favorite game series! When these pops came up on my feed (which I cringe in saying that, but it is what it is living in the modern age) I preordered them to add to my collection of BioShock stuff. I got them from Amazon, which was a smooth experience and probably the most enjoyable part of this whole ordeal. I am glad that the mad dash to get pops before they sold out is done with, those were not fun times.
Spoiler alert but the word for this collection is disappointing. Let's just get into the nitty gritty š®āšØ
Bouncer Big Daddy

These pops just look...off. I don't know how to explain it but they seem wrong, maybe it's the coloring? I'm not sure but I think this Big Daddy is my least favorite. I have the original and when you compare the two it is crazy the difference. First off, the new one is significantly smaller. I guess shrinkflation has hit Funko š The new one also has less details paint wise than the original. The purple hue is weird and it lacks the metallic details that make it look like a Big Daddy. It just lacks a sense of life that originally brought the pops to popularity. Just a crappy hunk of plastic. Very disappointed.
Sander Cohen

Looking at him just screams "generic pop". What makes him different than any other pop? He doesn't have a bunny mask or anything that signifies he is Sander Cohen rather than some random bloody male pop. Disappointing. I was hesitant to get him in the first place, but holding it in hand solidifies it as a bad choice.
Little Sister

This is the only one of the new wave that improved upon the original pop, but for some reason I still don't like it. The longer I look at them, the more I think the paint is just weird. It has a sort of pastel quality to it that I really don't like. But credit where credit is due, the Little Sister does have some details like her dirty hands and feet that make it seem at least worth keeping on the shelf.
Funko really dropped the ball with this release and a third of them is not worth the price. Has anyone noticed Funko doing this with other figures or did BioShock just get a bad deal? Let me know down below so we can compare notes (and maybe find some solace in complaining together š).
